Ammo Can ID Guide

The Latch Lock ammo can lock is designed to fit modern (post WW2) US Military surplus metal ammunition cans that feature a traditional lid latch with a round hole in the center.

This includes these very common models:

• .50 Cal (M2A1 and M2A2)

• Fat .50 Cal (PA-108, S.A.W.)

Less common ammo can models that the Latch Lock should fit also include the following:

• Tall 50 (PA-19, N463)

• AN/PVS-14 night vision goggles (PA-60)

• PA-70

• 60 MM (PA-124) size ammo cans. 

Confirm that your ammo can is an authentic U.S. Military issue "surplus" ammo can and that it has a small round hole drilled in the center of the lid latch BEFORE PURCHASE. Feel free to contact us with pictures your ammo can's lid latch if you are still unsure.

Latch Lock is not guaranteed to fit newly manufactured AND imported ammo cans of any size or model. Most of which are made in China and sold at various Big Box stores. We can NOT confirm that the Latch Lock will fit or correctly work with these ammo cans. Modification may be required (enlarging the round hole in the lid latch).
